Warm Beansprout Salad with Ham


Try replacing the ham with alternatives such as pan-fried prawns (marinated with fresh sliced chillies and light soya sauce), salt beef or Gravadlax

Gravadlax (with mustard and dill sauce)

  • 350g Beansprouts
  • 4 slices ham, cut 1cm wide
  • 2 spring onions, sliced diagonally
  • 2 tablespoons toasted black or white sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
For the Salad Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon light soya sauce
  • 1 pinch of 5 spice powder



Blanch beansprouts with boiling water for 30 seconds and drain
Mix in spring onions and sliced ham
Pour the salad dressing
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve
